Lecturer on board Silver Spirit, Hong Kong 2005

Paul Harris works internationally as a professional lecturer. He has travelled widely and has experience as a writer, publisher, political analyst, art dealer and journalist, living in the UK, Sri Lanka, China, former Yugoslavia and Malta. He is available to lecture on a wide range of subjects reflecting his personal and professional interests: art history, counter insurgency and terrorism, politics and world affairs, journalism and photography.

NADFAS accredited lecturer

He has lectured professionally since 1997. He is a regular lecturer on cruise and expedition ships where he has worked for many of the leading operators, including Cunard, Silversea, Seabourn, Crystal, Zegrahm, Clipper and Noble Caledonia. He has also lectured for military and intelligence agencies, UN and NATO agencies, private and public companies, museums and Rotary Clubs. Since July 2011 he has been an accredited lecturer with NADFAS (The National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies) in London.

He is now based in the Scottish borders where he operates the Coldingham Gallery, which specialises in Chinese and Vietnamese art. He also runs the Chinese Art Blog.
